Review & Description

“Blissfully Chocolate” is one book filled with recipes from days gone by that were firm family favourites brought to light to grace your families table. By baking these easy and delightful recipes you will feel like a super hero as the words “More Please” hits your ears.

We all know recipes are handed down over generations tucked away in a book or a tin for safe keeping brought out and baked “Just Like Mom Did” , ingredients were few but of the highest quality unlike today.

It has always been my belief that women of the past are our unsung heroins, warm hearted, welcoming, always ready with hospitality, from cups of tea or coffee, a piece of cake or something more substantial.

They used to share recipes, food and each others burdens.

Without these women our country would have lacked the heart of hospitality, with these women this book and its recipes couldn’t have happened.

It is my hope that the recipes in this book and the 2 others to follow in this series will be made with the same love, care and pride as our unsung heroines did.

NOTE: I HAVE MADE THESE RECIPES SO EASY FOR YOU!

Throughout each recipe I have inserted brackets with modern day meanings by words or weights and measures I feel may have gone out of fashion so a better understanding and a fantastic outcome of these recipes will be had by all.

Do not be afraid to make them, they are easy, especially today when we have hand mixers and other methods of beating cakes!
